Kia Motors Unveils Global Business Strategy, Plans for Future Growth
The Kia Motors Global Business Meeting concluded in Sichuan's宜宾 city, where the company unveiled a comprehensive five-year business plan. The strategy includes the launch of 5 new models within the next five years and the updates to current models to cover all SUV and sedans from B class to D class.
The upcoming Kia models will cater to various market segments by offering different powertrains such as CNG, Oil, Electric, and Hybrid variants across Sideshift, Two-Wheel and 4-Wheel drive models. Moreover, the brand is committed to covering both domestic and international markets with over 30 million units of production in 2030.
Kia Motors aims to dominate new energy vehicle sales and achieve a more than 50% share by 2030. The company also plans to reach a global export ranking among the top ten for Chinese brands, achieving USD 5 billion in revenue.
By 2025, Kia is committed to reaching daily production of 15 thousand units, exporting vehicles to over 50 countries, selling around 30 thousand units and aiming for 40 thousand. For the upcoming year, Kia plans to expand its network by more than 150 dealerships and achieve 3 million sales, targeting 4 million.
This expansion will be accompanied by an increase in network scale surpassing 494 dealerships, construction of new factories in Egypt, Nigeria, and Indonesia, providing a more extensive supply chain.
