New BJ40 Magic e Concept Debuting at Guangzhou Auto Show with Pre-Sale of Electric Model
The eagerly anticipated all-new BJ40 magic e concept is set to make its official debut at the upcoming Guangzhou auto show, marking the beginning of a new era for Geely's electric vehicle lineup.
As of now, pre-orders for the magic e variant have been opened, offering customers a chance to experience the thrill of driving an electric car. The magic e boasts an impressive range of 155km on pure electric power, complemented by an updated engine output of 1.5T, combined with the hybrid system.
Design-wise, the new magic e shares a comparable exterior design with its fuel-guzzling counterpart, retaining the classic five-slit frontal grille and maintaining its iconic profile. A notable change can be seen on both sides of the vehicle – one side features an open compartment for refueling, while the adjacent slot serves as a charging bay. The rear BJ40e badge subtly emphasizes its unique electrical persona.
Underpinned with a 1.5T rotary supercharge engine coupled with the hybrid powertrain system, the magic e offers substantial fuel efficiency of 1.39L/100km and impressive total range exceeding 1200km. Furthermore, an array of exciting features is packed within, including nickel-molybdenum-tri-metal lithium batteries, carbon ceramic electron controller, dual-electric drivetrain bridge gear with dedicated locking system, agile lock-off function, high-resolution transmission switch-up, rapid-assist regenerative braking, smart off-road assistance, and more.
With its electric capabilities taking center stage, the new BJ40 magic e concept invites drivers to explore an exciting future in automotive technology.
