Chinese EV Upstart Biandao Announces Overseas Expansion with ATTO 2
Biandao's Up series has made waves in China by showcasing a range of innovative vehicles that have piqued the interest of global car enthusiasts. The company is now poised to venture into international markets, giving rise to the announcement that its upcoming electric vehicle will be named ATTO 2.
Scheduled for unveil at next month's Brussels Motor Show, ATTO 2 will finally reach overseas stores by February. Notably, Biandao plans to manufacture this model alongside its Plus variant and Seagull counterpart in Hungary starting from 2026.
What to Expect from the Overseas ATTO 2
From what is available, visuals of the ATTO 2 in press conference reveal it will share similar exterior lines with the domestic Up series. The key differences, however, would be seen in the wheel arches. With dimensions similar to its domestic counterpart, the new model is expected to see minor adjustments in trim levels.
Inside, ATTO 2 mirrors its domestic brother well, maintaining a virtually consistent interior design despite seating upholstery patterns mirroring each other.
Domestic Counterpart
Internationally known Up series also boasts powertrain capabilities offering dual electric motors producing 70kW and 130kW respectively. A range of 301km to 401km was available for both models. Prices varied between 9.68-11.98k yuan respectively.
