Kia and Hyundai Dominate China Sales with Eye-Opening 47,000 Units Sold in Q2 2025

Ideal, Xiaopeng and Li Nian Take Top Spots in Chinese Market Sales Ranking for 2025

Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer Ideal Auto has announced its sales ranking for the 6th week of 2025 (February 20-26). According to official figures, Ideal Auto topped the list with a weekly sales figure of 47,000 units.

Xiaopeng Automobile followed close behind with 44,000 units sold, taking second place overall. Li Nian Automobile rounded out the top three with 34,000 units sold.

The fourth spot was taken by Zero Run, with 27,000 units delivered. In terms of pure sales numbers, this means that in terms of total sales for 2025, a number of brands are still ahead of Zero Run.

Among new energy vehicle manufacturers, BYD took the top spot with an impressive 28,900 units sold, followed by Wuxi Changjiang Automobile (Wuhu) at 10,100 units. Tesla was in third place, moving to around 62,000 units, and four more vehicles - Geely, Li Nian, Weilte, RX, Xpeng, Polestar as we all take fourth place.

Among luxury brands, Tesla dominated the top spot, selling 62,000 models. Audi took second with a sales figure of 56,000 units.

Ideal Automobile finished third on both lists with 47,000, Mercedes-Benz was in fourth and BMW ended up fifth.

Other high-end companies that have made it to rankings: REX, LACCI, Xpeng, Volvo, Tesla.
