New Electric SUC Expected to Debut in 2026
A new teaser image has been released for the upcoming all-new electric seven-seater SUV from Skoda, which is expected to launch in 2026. The car is rumored to be named "Space" and will be developed on the Volkswagen MEB platform.
The exterior design of the new sedan is inspired by the 2022 Vision 7S concept car. The front grille features a unique "Modern Solid" design language, which has also been adopted by the current Epiq model.
A key feature of the new SUV's exterior design is its distinctive front lighting layout, which consists of two side lights that form a "7" shape, connected by a matrix-style light band. This design is more recognizable than the traditional grille design used on earlier models. The rear design also adheres to this theme, with a robust and dynamic overall look.
A notable feature of the new SUV's exterior design is its roof spoiler, which is designed to give the car a sporty look.
The 2026 Skoda electric seven-seater is rumored to compete directly with models like the Hyundai Kona Electric and Kia EV9 in the same class.
The powertrain for the new SUV has not been officially announced by the manufacturer. However, it was reported that the car will offer single- and dual-motor variants of its electric propulsion system.
