Geely's Geleon LE3 Reveal: A Futuristic Electric SUV with Cutting-Edge Technology

In a recent update to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's (MIIT) directory, information on Geleon's LE3 was submitted. This is an electric large luxury SUV based on GEVO's specially designed architecture for large electric or plug-in hybrid vehicles, taking on a distinctive design akin to the innovative aesthetic seen in The Next Day.

Prior to its release, car enthusiasts had already caught glimpses of the vehicle. A summary of its exterior looks is as follows: The front end boasts an open grille accompanied by a horizontally aligned lower panel above the front bumper, featuring a harmonious symmetrical design that brings balance and stability to the large SUV's headlight structure. Inspired by the dawn sunrise light effects, Geleon LE 3 created an all-open, interactive LED light system comprised of over 10,000 LED lights and 32 levels of brightness control.

Car dimensions measure 5,240mm in length, 1,999mm in width, and 1,800mm (1810) in height, with a wheelbase of 3,160m. The wind resistance coefficient reached 0.291cd, reflecting its aerodynamic design efficiency.

The rear part has made significant strides by providing an electric territory entrance door, which bears a maximum weight capacity of 300kg for various creative extensions and applications such as camping, fishing, or equipment placement outdoors. Users can also personalize and customize this advanced outdoor experience using multiple options and accessories.

Beyond that, the LE3 sports smart glow interactive LED tail lights that consist of eight lines equipped with around 2,400 individual LEDs which could independently operate according to various scenes. Such functionality combines both leisure activities for parking as well as entertainment during driving sessions while bringing about an extraordinary user interface experience.

The Lele3 boasts three power configurations to suit users' preferences:

• Power Configuration (1): Featuring 2.0-liter T engines and triple electric motors with maximum system energy reaching 630kW.
• Power Configuration (2): Equipped with a more modest 2.0-lT engine, paired with dual-electric motor that reaches the combined maximum output of 540Kw
• Power Configuration (3) : A lighter 1.5-LT engine coupled to double electric motors maximizing system overall power of 530kW

During the launch, notable power output ratings were displayed - 187 kW for the 2.0-l-liter engine variant and 143 kW for the 1.5-l-tr engine combination. There is also a battery capacity announcement: LE3 with 1.5-LT engines to contain a massive 43.3kWh pack, allowing it an estimated sustainable electric range of approximately 185km. The dual-electric-configuration variant is powered by 50 kwh batteries and yields about 202 miles on electricity alone.

The GEVO Lel3 Le also comes equipped with the Geely Super AI digital platform for enhanced vehicle capabilities such as the famous Wálzs autonomous maneuvering functionality.
