Guangzhou Auto Show: Expectations for New Energy Vehicles and Boosted Competitiveness
The Guangzhou Auto Show is set to kick off on November 15, with over a hundred new car models expected to debut. Among the buzziest cars are those powered by e-assist systems – which are being touted as the future of automotive industry.
Before the show even starts, manufacturers have been hinting at what's in store for this edition. For instance, there are expectations that Chinese brand Cebu will officially launch FIREFLY, its third new energy model, this year, with possibilities including a fully electric and e-assisted version.
Other notable players expected to make an appearance include BYD’s new model as well as Longy’s latest iteration of their iconic model. Moreover, top manufacturers from around the world such as Toyota, Nissan, Hyundai, Audi will unveil various of their popular models at this event which holds significant importance in the entire world automotive sector.
The show marks another significant milestone for e-assist vehicles as a lot was predicted over them before its debut but things turned out pretty well and more innovations are expected here.

Among the major players expected to make an impact include: Toyota which has one popular model in its inventory since 20 years; Nissan - a brand which holds quite an important place in our daily lives as it's behind such highly sought-after vehicles as Datsun and Infiniti; Hyundai that owns KIA as their newest entity while Audi the luxury vehicle brand of the Volkswagen Group.
