Big Apple Arrives: 888 Starting Price Unveiled for Latest V1 Car Model

New Maxus Series of Electric Vehicles Officially Launched with Two Models

On February 28, we received news from the official website of Changhe Automobile Group, the parent company of Maxus, that two new models in the new generation of the Maxus lineup have officially started sales. The prices of these cars are set between 88,800 yuan and 94,800 yuan.

Positioned as a pure electric van with an urban face, the new Maxus series includes V1 and M1 car types, with various forms such as low-floor/large-door, short-overall/long-axle, taxi/multi-functional car, etc.

Exterior Design

The exterior design of the new cars follows the same style as the current model, adopting a "Fusion of Circles" aesthetic. The combination of an enclosed grille and an LED front lamp with a rounded rectangular wheel arch is matched up with an elliptical grid on the bottom of the car body, accompanied by the MAXUS logo on the hood. The overall design is modern and simple. Additionally, the front windscreen is designed to be transparent, providing a good viewing angle for driving. The windows are large in size on both sides, which also contributes to a good driving experience.

The exterior dimensions of the car measure 5250mm in length, 1870mm in width, and 1960mm in height, with an overall length/width ratio at 2.79/1, and an axle-length/overall distance ratio at 1/1.45, according to Changhe.

Interior

Inside the new cars, there are upgrades such as a 12.3-inch floating screen plus a 7-inch LCD instrument cluster, panoramic views of all directions, and support for full-scene voice interaction and AI assistants. The original nine-seat layout maintains its position inside, with seatbelts on second-row seats. Additionally, the car is capable of over 30 types of mini-program applications, which can be operated through the AI assistant, called "Tong Xiao" (Young Xiao).
