Ideal Motors has officially announced the launch of its 1,000th charging station, the ultra-high-altitude 'Pearl' 5C supercharger station atop Mount Qomolangma, marking a significant milestone in the company's efforts to build out a comprehensive supercharging network across China.
Located at an altitude over 4,200 meters in the Pearl Valley parking lot of the Mount Qomolangma scenic area, adjacent to Highway 318 and National Highway 219, this station boasts one standard 5C station and seven 2C fast-charging posts. Furthermore, ideal cars announces that several new ultra-high-altitude charging stations on the Xinjiang's Lüliang – Altai regional road are currently under construction, with the goal to complete a seamless route down Highway 318 by next year.
Since its first charge station went live back in April of this year, Ideal Motors has made tremendous strides, with a total of over 4,800 charging stations and branches that cover 31 provinces and cities across China. From fast-standard highway charging stations totaling 581 locations, to high-end ultra-high-speed charging stations that are mostly located at major service stops along national highways covering around six of the country's twelve major "high-latitude" and economic belts stretching a total of nearly 60% of national highways.
Ideal Motors looks to expand further into China’s city supercharging network in the coming year, as of now it has already deployed no less than 419 Ultra-high-speed charging stations all over the country. Out of these, nearly $39$ ultra-fast standard charging stations were launched at the end of 2024 – an expansion representing a $10%$ step up on their city deployment.
As such 1,000 supercharger stations have become milestones by ideal motors and as of this month, they signed down 2,000 business stops. Ideal Motors is set to continue expanding its ultra-fast supercharging network throughout 2025, with the aim of covering over 90% of the country’s national highway route lengths stretching across nearly every single one of their national highways covering no less than 19 out of China's total of twenty two economic zones.
And in terms of business prospects Ideal Motors is also looking to solidify itself even more firmly into urban city markets by year end.
