Hangzhou in February: First Glimpse of Lucky Silver River's Land-Based Helicopter

Geely's New L380 Lunar-Series Vehicle Launched on February 14th

On February 14th, Geely unveiled the official images of their new vehicle model, L380, a terrestrial equivalent to the Airbus Landster. The interior boasts a rich blend of Eastern and Western cultural motifs.

According to Geely officials, pre-sales of the L380 started this month with an expected availability in early March.

Exterior Design

The exterior design inspirations were drawn from airplane airframes with a refined, elegant aesthetic, complemented by a simple yet flowing shape line. A unique feature is the use of "London's Eye" named low-drag wheel. The concept originates from London classic iconic landmarks like "The London Eye", conveying dynamic and spinning visual effects through dynamical, twisting shape.

Interior Design

The seats were created using special comfort material called PBT leather. It has an extremely high area coverage up to 94% ,and there's a total surface space of 10㎡ in consideration throughout the entire interior parts. Compared to NAPA materials, our product thickness gets reduced 30%. The material's permeability can be reached at over one hundred million tiny pores per √ meter while considering environmental safety and personal health. Moreover, it got the "Imperial Oak" reputation through a significant application of a traditional resource - flower-ry (yellow peach) bamboo from Hainan.

Electric Powertrain

For its mechanical power, the L380 is equipped with pure electric vehicles, using only one motor to run, reaching maximum 272 horsepower and high efficiency. The storage battery's capacity can reach to 116kWh for single-motor, two-wheel drive while double-driven by dual-electric motors achieving more than 585kWh.
