GWM Gets a New Identity: Electric and Battery Power Now Mainstream in the Chinese Market - Everything You Need to Know About the Hi-4

New GWM Haval Hurricane Hi4 Models Launched with Updates and Enhancements

The latest issue of the State Administration of Work Safety's catalog has brought news of the upcoming launch of new GWM Haval Hurricane Hi4 models. These new models come equipped with improved safety features, updated exterior designs, and enhanced performance.

The vehicles will be marked with a new logo "GWM" instead of the previous "HAVAL" logo. Additionally, the engine power has been slightly increased, and the battery will be composed of nickel-cobalt-zinc-acid lithium-ion batteries.

In terms of design, the new models bear identical exterior designs to their predecessors, but with some minor adjustments. The front grille will come in two styling options, as revealed by GWM's latest catalog release.

Measuring 4680 (4800) mm/1950/1822(1843)mm in length, width, and height respectively, the vehicle has a axle-to-wheelbase proportion of 2738mm. The rear part is also updated with an all-new "GWM" plate to further emphasize the cars' style.

The new vehicles offer a wide range of additional features. These include roof antennas, trunk racks, side radar sensors, taillights, combined lights, wing body ornaments, center consoles, side mirrors and wheel covers.

Powering the vehicles is a 1.5T+Hi4 smart four-wheel drive all-electric hybrid technology combined with a new GW4B15M engine designed by Lonestar Automobile Company producing maximum power of 115 kW.
