Baidu QM Series Pure Electric Version Debuts in Most Recent Industrial Standard Catalogue
A latest version of the QM series launched by Baidu, a Chinese auto brand, was included in the most recent release of an industrial standard catalogue. The newly unveiled model introduced new design touches compared to its gasoline-powered counterpart.
The exterior design of the model features a modern and harmonious color scheme inspired by "New National Dragon's Beauty". Upon closer inspection, it becomes apparent that this version boasts distinct visual differences from its previous gasoline-powered variants, boosting recognizability.

The refreshed front-end of the QM model features revised LED headlights, including a more streamlined design that harmoniously combines with an upgraded “Dragon Beard” lighting system. This comprehensive design allows to enhance recognizability on the go while making the front face stand out due to its strong integration.
The side profile showcases an elongated bodyline following the contours of the front wings panel, complemented by inner grooves beneath the rear sliding doors, emphasizing the power and muscularity of the car. The sleek horizontal accentuate's the visual depth of the overall vehicle design. Not forgetting in design language, the car stands proudly on an aggressive sloping stance due to its "sloped-back" configuration.
Tailored to reinforce the aggressive lines created by the bodywork and the frontal features for the QM electric model comes a slightly wider rear section that makes full use of aerodynamic design to improve recognizability in motion. A more streamlined look characterizes these new tail lights as with other elements of the car inspired by traditional Chinese decorative motifs, giving an unmistakable impression.
The model's specifications are as follows: In terms of dimensions, it measures 4720 x 1880 x 1495mm and features a wheelbase of 2820mm. Two types of wheels were presented: one measuring 225/55 R17 and two that measure 225/50 R18 will also be made available to buyers. When it comes to propulsion, the QM model is equipped with a drive unit manufactured at by Baidu, in the context of which is produced by Zhengzhou Baidu Automobile and features power levels reaching up to 162kW.
