Tesla's Upcoming Model Y: A New Era with Revised Design

Based on the latest spy shots, overseas media outlets have released speculative renderings of the new Tesla Model Y, showcasing significant changes from earlier design concepts.

The front face bears a resemblance to the G6 sedan.

New Model Y Designs

The latest spy shots reveal that the new Model Y is expected to feature a split-beam LED design, consistent with the designs shown in the latest renderings. The car will sport dual-running lights and fog lights atop the grille area.

Only minor changes appear to be noticeable compared to previous models when looking at other areas of the vehicle such as the rear-end tail lamp, while significant revisions can be seen up against other major components of the vehicle’s main face.

Rear Design

Tail lamps continue to mirror previous Model Y designs, however in mid-late 2023 recently, new model pictures popped out showing a revised version of that tail light, with unknown future model versions possibly changing these, whether those design changes are coming for any future variants and more over time remains unclear due the company of Tesla known not to unveil design prior to its release.

Model Y Interior

The release of interior design shots has been lacking, but early leaked images gave a broad overview of what we can expect. The updated interior includes common features with that of newer car ranges including the removal of headrests and direction steering column wheel with other features to come in future model updates.

With regards to powertrain, it will be carried over from current speculations so no major changes might show within the upcoming release.
