BYD Rolls Out Teaser for New, Sleek EV SUV - SeaGod 05

March 15th, BYD's Auto Ocean Business Department Reveals A Glimpse of Their Latest Compact SUV: The SeaGod 05 EV.

In a social media post on March 15th, Mr. Zhang Zhuo, General Manager of the Auto Ocean websiteSales Division at BYD Automobile, shared an official teaser image for their upcoming, all-new compact SUV - the Sea God 05. Initial regulatory filings with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology have confirmed that the new model has been submitted to review.

Contrasting its predecessor's design language, this revised version seeks to achieve dual branding purposes through improved recognition and satisfy diverse user aesthetics.

The teaser image has showcased unique design elements adopted from the latest trends in automotive fashion. With a streamlined front facia featuring sealed-in front grille frames complemented by high-level LED striping systems across an entire vehicle body area, distinguishing characteristics can be seen in overall appearance that provide both aesthetic appeal as well as increased visual breadth. Also important to note is how two side exhaust vents have been made larger during design development for this particular application, providing additional enhancements through its streamlined profile.

For the rear portion of said model we find an elaborate integration involving vertical arrangement - essentially a series arrangement with horizontal LED lights surrounding bottom air intake opening - thus producing visually appealing yet functional aesthetics. The end-of-vehicle configuration also incorporates vertical alignment between headlights forming strong visual relationship while simultaneously offering distinct visual identity during both approach and departure.

This design will be contrasted with the existing model, the Sea God DM-i (version 05), which boasts more dramatic proportions but will now give way to a sleek, modern look. The interior and exterior elements of the Sea God 05 EV will be available in various customized configurations such as wing-shaped LED decoration on the roof or a custom wheel design featuring various accent hues among others. Moving towards the engine setup, our findings have indicated that power is supplied by the permanent-magnet synchronous motor named TZ200XSAY type - and based off publicly reported specs from automotive industry publications, it claims an output of 140kW along with integrated energy cell batteries, culminating in a highest possible performance speed of 180 km/h.
