Leaps Cars Unveils New Compact SUV B10 Ahead of Launch in March 2025
A new compact SUV from Leap's brand has been listed on the latest version of the China National Standard Database, the Leap 10 has been officially confirmed to be under development. The upcoming model is expected to focus on a target price range of $13,000 - $23,000.
The manufacturer aims to establish itself as a mass-market player in the automotive industry and plans to launch its B-series and C-series models with advanced AI-powered driving systems by 2025.
Design-wise, the Leap 10 features an enclosed roof design with split-side headlamps, integrated daytime running lights, and taillights. A rectangular air dam design can be seen below the front grille, accompanied by guide vanes on either side. The rear end boasts a unique design with interlinked LED lights and is accentuated by Leap's English moniker "LEAPMOTOR". Highmounted brake lights add to the aggressive ambiance.
In terms of dimensions, the car measures 4,515 x 1,885 mm in length, width, and height. The overall wheelbase stands at 2,735mm. The power train utilizes a model from Gold Wing Kinesis Technology Co., Ltd, which boasts an output of 160 kilowatts.
Notably, the vehicle utilizes mobile processing equipment high-tech products, including advanced speech models and distributed machine learning systems. Furthermore, it incorporates smart Electric Vehicle (EV) technology such as Multi-Car Technologies and Battery-Centric Integrated Platform technology for extended autonomous capacity up to 1,200 kilometers.
