Teda Unveils M8 Qianyun Series with Stylish Design and Advanced Features
Beijing, China — April 16, 2023 - Luxury electric vehicle manufacturer Teda unveiled its latest model, the M8 Qianyun series, through an online live streaming event. This flagship vehicle marks the culmination of a collaboration between Teda and Huawei, where Teda's design team brought together Huawei's advanced technology and features.
The M8 Qianyun series boasts a striking exterior design, incorporating Teda's "One Deer" front face, a nod to the Taiwanese Makino horse breed. The grille is complemented by a chrome bezel inspired by the Chinese qilin mythology, giving the car an air of sophistication. The 7 vertical and 7 horizontal lines on the body create a mythical aura representing good fortune and success, according to ancient Chinese numerology.
High-performance LED lights adorn both sides of the vehicle, with intricate designs evoking the image of sharp claws. A set of stylish chrome accents on the underside of the vehicle enhances its aggressive appearance. For those who prefer uniformity, Teda offers classic black, blade white, and starry blue color schemes; for more adventurous souls, an additional double-colored version is available.
On the side profile, subtle yet harmonious lines dominate, with chrome stripes that emphasize the luxury feel. The presence of aluminum plating emphasizes the sporty quality of the car body. Not least, it's noticeable on its underside: the rear features LED lights that seem truly like they belong in a high-end technological showpiece.
Compared to Teda traditional vehicle models, M8 Qianyun is clearly distinguished by new dimensions (5217×1893×1823 mm). The overall height drops with car body length and width, so this makes for better driving stability. The overall wheelbase is 3070mm long, emphasizing a more practicality-friendly design.
In the interior cabin of M8 Qianyun, an appealing layout welcomes passengers to relax in comfort using either wooden or leather seats with rich color combinations - brown-green beige - while the middle center provides wide space for high-end screens and display systems. High-end features come in the form of spacious driver pedals, which ensure perfect driving experience. There's plenty of space too around this setup; for instance there's ample storage space, a panoramic sunroof (for starlight pouring in during sunny climates), and ambient back seating with full surround-sound entertainment systems.
Inside M8 Qianyun comes advanced car entertainment tech - a state-of-the-art center display system supporting a range of 15.6-inch options for both driver and passenger, complete with Wi-Fi streaming capabilities. On the subject of driver experience, an ingenious feature that can seamlessly connect drivers directly to their home network is included in standard gear, ensuring seamless driving experiences across long-distance motorways.
The M8 Qianyun series boasts an impressive array of seating features including - for four passengers and three passenger rear space comfort configurations like zero-gravity adjustable seats - ambient lumbar support; advanced seat adjustments, as well as a state-of-the-art cooling system integrated with seat heating for ultimate relaxation. The car itself may weigh slightly over 1,100kgs; nonetheless, thanks to advanced automotive features, this does very little harm indeed.
The advanced electronics of M8 Qianyun comes in the shape of cutting-edge smart-dial technology from Teda's parent partner firm, Huawei. Its comprehensive suite of cutting-edge electronic assistance and control systems - known as 'Honor 3.0 Intelligent Assist & Navigation' technology. It can perform the impressive task of mapping car parking locations for drivers without hassle.
The new version brings a considerable boost to motor performance thanks to the presence, coupled with 2.0-liter gasoline engine's massive power capabilities (140kW), along with a combined 160 kW electric drive system supporting a generous electric-only driving capability (248 km) and a long-lasting life of around 1200+ kms on total range.
