Xiaomi Unveils Second Generation Compact SUV, The Mi Yu 7

December 20, a group of images from domestic social media platforms confirmed the arrival of Xiaomi's second-generation compact SUVs.

According to recent news, the pricing for this new vehicle is expected to be between 30-40 million CNY. The official launch date has been set in mid-June to early July next year, with entry-level models equipped with large batteries and laser radars.

The competition is being tackled by prominent brands including Tesla's Model Y.

It’s worth noting that officials have previously stated that the Mi Yu 7 pronunciation translates directly to English as "Y-U-7".

A Glimpse at Design Language

The car utilizes Xiaomi's characteristic family design language, with prominent bullet-shaped headlights complemented by multiple lenses offering excellent recognition. A large intake surrounded by a blackened grille along with two drain holes on each side further boost the sporty essence.

The back uses the same headlight configuration as previous MiSU7 models. This time enhanced through an SUV body that creates a wider appearance, and in addition to its new design is made even more comfortable due to a higher car body.
