Xiaomi Releases 2024 October Sales Figures, Exceeds Targets
Xiaomi has formally announced its sales figures for October 2024, surpassing expectations with more than 20,000 units of the SU7 model delivered.
The SU7 single-wheeled motorcycle marks a significant milestone in terms of monthly delivery, exceeding 2,000 units for the first time. Additionally, Xiaomi anticipates meeting its annual production target of 10 million units by November, ahead of schedule.
Currently, only the SU7 is available in Xiaomi's dealership network, with three configuration options priced between 21.59 and 29.99 thousand Chinese yuan.
Prior to October, news reports indicated that Mi Automobile had been receiving an average of over 4,000 lock orders per week since September, with delivery cycles extended until after February 2025. In May this year, the company revised its annual sales target to a minimum of 100,000 units and aims for 120,000.
It's worth noting that Mi Automobile has announced plans to construct two new production factories in Beijing Yitang district, with each expected to have an annual capacity of 150,000 units. This strategy is part of the company's efforts to meet growing demand and expand its presence in the Chinese market.
In October alone, Xiaomi opened 11 new stores across the country, bringing the total number of operational stores to 38 cities. In November, 11 more stores are scheduled to open, covering two new cities: Xuzhou and Yulin. A further 21 service centers have also been launched, in addition to the existing authorized service centers.
Xiaomi has just released the SU7 Ultra production version, following its launch on October 29th with a pre-order period that began the same day. Surprisingly, over 3,600 units were reserved within just ten minutes of pre-orders opening for this high-end model, which will be fully launched in March 2025 at an introductory price of 81.49 thousand yuan.

- The quarterly shipment of SU7 single-wheeled motorcycles has set a record for more than 20000 units, exceeding the number of deliveries it would take to satisfy every customer who had preordered a Mi automobile unit in 30 years
- 11 new stores have been opened in October alone.
