Smart Spirit #5 Brabus Performance Model Unveiled in China

In a move that solidifies its position as a leading player in the automotive market, smart has officially launched its latestSpirit #5 model with a performance-packed iteration denoted by the Brabus badge. Initially showcased at international events prior to its domestic unveil, this new variant boasts an elevated appearance and capabilities that set it apart from its counterparts.

Internally, various elements have been incorporated to enhance the overall feel of the vehicle, such as motion-motivated contours. These are complemented by a powerful propulsion system – which is comprised of 475kW dual electric motors coupled with all-wheel drive. Consequently, this results in exceptional acceleration performance at 0-100km/h within just three and eight tenths of a second.

Aesthetic enhancements abound outside as well, including moving features that reinforce the concept of 'The Egg', a theme applied in its aerodynamic scheme. Incorporating these concepts include swept LED headlights that illuminate and surround the front portion, incorporating air vents for an improved breathing mechanism on both front sides, red strips at the bottom edge to denote the Brabus logo, adding further depth to its dynamic overall appearance. Noted at the top part of the vehicle, there's a high-intensity laser-based radar installed.

Side profiling yields a sleek look featuring a pattern comprised of interwoven lines that give it an active stance in front, while the back view sees red accents integrated into it as well - all of which serve to reinforce its performance capabilities as stated earlier. It features black-alloy wheels and a specific gear shift button on its interior - designed by BRABUS. Alongside this are some other notable configurations including illuminated floor mats.

Inside, significant elements have been worked upon to achieve a truly high-end feel in the cabin of the vehicle - with items ranging from classic gauges with an LCD format to moving parts like motion-driven dials as well as AR display screens that enhance immersion.

The smart Spirit #5 will be debuted as part of a high-performance car lineup at the 2025 Shanghai auto show.
