Smartling #1 and Bobos Models of New Smart Car Released
The Department of Industry, Information, Telecommunications and Information Technology (MIIT) has approved the introduction of a new smart car model, the Smartling #1, as well as its counterpart with different equipment configuration, known as the Bobos.
Key Features and Upgrades
Compared to its predecessor, the Smartling #1 boasts some improvements in terms of design. The most notable change is the introduction of new wheel designs, which have been added to enhance the overall aesthetic appeal of the vehicle. Additionally, all-new electric engines have replaced those found on existing models.
The exterior design has been modified slightly, with differences observed between the standard and Bobos variants of the same model. The two share similarities in terms of front face, frontal frame, and rear fender designs. However, key distinctions lie in their wheel styles – the regular version sports an all-new 19-inch closed-style wheelset, while the premium edition features ten unique wheels with a similar size (approximately 19 inches).
In contrast to their predecessors, both the everyday Smartling #1 and high-specced Bobos versions have been upgraded. The standard car has added to its repertoire a brand new drive motor code named as TZ220XYA02 which delivers an output of 250 kW; meanwhile, it is equipped with engines known under identifiers TZ180XSB01 /TZ220XYA01 (front and rear dual electric motors) and they power out the maximum potential of 365 kW for this higher-end variant.
