Does Kia's EV2 Need a Dose of Creativity? A Bold New Design Revealed

Hyundai EV2 Spotted Teasing Its Overseas Debut

The Hyundai EV2 has been spotted abroad in a series of leaked photos, showcasing the car’s design. The two-seater electric SUV is expected to retail at £25,000 (approximately CNY 23,000), and will be built on the E-GMP platform shared with other Hyundai models like the EV3, EV6, and EV9, categorizing it as a compact vehicle.

The test car’s exterior was heavily camouflaged, but its suspension-mounted roof design stood out. This innovative approach brings back memories of Hyundai's older SsangYong model.

Although initially appearing as an ordinary "boxy" SUV, the leaked images indicate that the EV2 would have a futuristic feel, especially when it comes to front big lamp groups. The car’s overall design is characterized by simple elegance and precise details, echoing the brand's unique style.

The side section of the car gives us insight into its passenger space experience. Although compact in size, the rear wheels are positioned towards the back to create ample cargo area.

The rear end features an unexpected "exaggerated" spoiler board and another distinctive tail design. Hyundai officials assert that this new model will cater specifically to European consumers with an emphasis on practicality and value.
