GAC Group to Launch Two New SUVs,Including the Flagship Reanck 900, in Q2 2024
At GAC Group's annual earnings conference for 2024, CEO and extreme technologies' executive vice chairman, Mr. An Conghui, announced that two new SUV models, the Reanck 900 and the Extreme 9X Glorious, will embark on pre-sale phase from March 25th, respectively arriving in showrooms in April. The first is based on GAC's SPA Evo electric mixed-axle platform, featuring a proprietary engine developed by eWID Thorne. This new large SUV is equipped with Huawei Ewida Thor smart Chip and adopts Chery H7 intelligent system.
Additionally, another extreme technologies' model called Extreme 9X will debut at the Shengqi Car Exhibition in Shanghai in April and will be officially on sale later in this quarter of the year. What is worth to mention is that Extreme 9X Glorious features an L3 level smart driving technology. This car has a unique exterior design, incorporating into the concept TNE NEXT DAY family with contrasting Y-Shaped lamp units, which is more recognizable. Tail lights have been employed according to concave type and the overall aesthetic impression has improved accordingly.
The interior of this new model comes equipped with 6K 30-inch multi-functional screen, two color double-spoke steering wheel, a high-definition liquid crystal instrument panel with 12.66 inches, as well as the 30-inch rear-entertainment screen. The onboard system is combined with Huawei's Thor chip and the dual top-end M5 processor.
One of its notable features is the G-AES adaptive obstacle avoidance function being equipped by this car along with a sophisticated language modeling model called MLM. This function can detect various types of obstacles, from small three-leaf traffic signals down to massive tractors up to 130 km/h according to tests.
This brand new Reanck has dimensions of 524019991810 mm and length and wheelbase being exactly 3160mm. Its powertrain comes with three options: A dual motor powertrons set with a turbocharged gasoline engine reaching overall output of 630kW, A single front electric motor coupled pair of e-power engines set with a turbocharged gasoline engine achieving an overall power output of 540kW and A low-powered version featuring one electric axle connected to a low-turbo gasoline engine with two e-powers set in total producing 530kW.
The new brand Reanck is equipped with the closed, double-camber pop-up active suspension system paired along with an automatic dampener to further improve ride height and agility. The car also comes with the smart chassis technology called "WALLAZ", featuring the capacity both drop- turn underlines as well as turning-in capabilities
