Alfa Romeo 4C Successor Concept Rendered, Aims to Debut in Few Years
A set of concept images for the successor of Alfa Romeo's 4C model have been obtained, indicating that the upcoming car is expected to be produced on the STLA Medium platform. According to plans, it will either launch with all-electric powertrain or come as the Alfa Romeo 4E Spider.
The concept design appears to draw inspiration from the latest Alfa Romeo 33 Stradale model elements. The front fascia is designed with an entirely new lighting system featuring a comprehensive strip of taillights and LED headlights that retain the classic essence of the 4C family's style. Although there are not yet any exact features confirmed, it appears that the new car will retain several iconic design cues.
The newly designed concept boasts smoother side lines which should lower air resistance to improve efficiency. The powertrain is also expected to remain consistent with its family while adopting pure electric technology. There is an expectation around possible versions of a single-electric rear-wheel drive and dual-motor, all-wheel-wheel drive models but official confirmation on the details are yet to be made.
Further information on this highly anticipated variant will undoubtedly emerge from the firm as it nears production in coming years.
