Anewon U7 to Debut on March 27: China's Most Advanced New Energy Flagship Sedan

China's most advanced new energy flagship sedan, the Anewon U7, is set to debut on March 27. The car has already started selling off-sale, offering a deposit as low as 200 yuan (approximately $28 USD) for customers who pre-queue.

The U7 is positioned as a million-level new energy flagship sedan, providing both electric and plug-in hybrid drives.

In terms of design, the U7 adopts Anewon's signature design language, boasting good recognizability. The rear section features a high-mounted taillight group, accompanied by a large ground clearance element and an electric motor wind deflector to enhance driving dynamics. With dimensions of 5265 mm in length, 1998 mm in width, and 1517 mm in height, the U7 takes on a commanding presence as a large sedan.

The interior design features a symmetrical mid-control panel pairing with large vertical infotainment screens embedded in both-door displays, exuding a strong sense of technology and modernity. The car's exterior boasts an aesthetically pleasing color palette and metallic highlights to further enhance its overall appearance. Rear seats feature separate seats with adjustable support and built-in entertainment controls at the center console.

Performance

The Anewon U7 offers both electric and plug-in hybrid models, each boasting distinct performance capabilities. The all-electric version is equipped with four high-performance motors delivering a total output of 1300 horsepower, making it capable of reaching an electronically limited top speed of 270km/h (168mph). With the integrated lithium battery with enhanced cutting-edge technology, it boasts sustained travel ranges up to 720 kilometers. In contrast the plug-in hybrid model pairs Anewon's turbocharged four-cylinder engine in combination with powerful all-wheel drive e-drive system producing a combined power output of 272 horse power for propulsion.
