In terms of battery technology, the automotive giant pioneered three significant capabilities centers – Battery Ability Center (BCCC), Manufacturing Ability Center (CMCC), and recycling-ability center (CRCC) – which cater to battery's life cycle.
To highlight key innovations driving progress forward, new technologies that BMW is introducing into their entire range of models.
From 2024 onward, BMW will push out significant product attacks: In the following years, BMW plans to launch over forty cars in the global marketplace. Over time, we anticipate more products covering a wide selection of drivetrains and specialized markets. Moreover, Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs) currently dominate their respective market segments as a major growth driver.
BMW is pushing head-first into electricization: Currently with around 42.7 thousand new energy vehicles delivered across major global markets.
BMW will officially launch these milestones in 2025 in BMW's full electric drive plan, where several key marks include cumulative global sales of over 300 million vehicles, reaching electric car deliveries exceeding one hundred and fifty thousand units worldwide.
