Shanghai Caele Energy has recently announced its official partnership with Geely Automobile, marking the start of a collaborative effort between the two entities in launching a nationwide charging network. The cooperation aims to provide efficient and user-friendly charging services to Geely's brands, including Haefei, Weiqi, Euler, and Tank.
Through this agreement, users of Geely's cars can utilize Caele Energy's extensive network of charging stations across China through the Geely Automobile App or the car owner's app. The convenience comes with intelligent, smartphone-based services that enable customers to efficiently locate, access, pay for and charge their vehicles. Moreover, users will have the opportunity to view information about existing charging points in real-time.
Caele Energy further continues the initiative to accelerate its development of fast-charging stations and battery swapping centers across China. As of February 14th, the company has established as many as 31,300 fast-charging stations throughout the country, bringing a major milestone to their expansion efforts. The newly upgraded network boasts coverage over 700 cities nationwide, with more than 50% of China's 900 counties now receiving Caele Energy’s network.
The recent partnership marks significant strides towards increasing China’s charging infrastructure. As this ongoing effort contributes to making faster and more efficient transportation accessible to the general public, all parties involved look on with optimism.
