Geely to Unveil Two New Models in 2025, with Hybrid System as New Starting Point
Geely has reported its third-quarter earnings, and CEO He Xiaopeng revealed that the company plans to launch two new car models by next year, including a fully electric model. Both cars will be paired with the P7+ hybrid system, which includes a range of new technologies.
In addition to these new releases, Geely also announced plans to update several existing models, with at least four new car launches expected throughout the year.
The P7+ hybrid system will serve as an upgrade for Geely's profit margins. Both newly released cars and updated variants will leverage P7+’s latest technologies.
Furthermore, He Xiaopeng stated that production of two key model cars, MONA M03 and P7+, has been ramped up to a dual-shift schedule. The company anticipates another record-breaking month shipment in the fourth quarter, with November shipments projected to exceed 30,000 vehicles.
Geely's fully-electric hybrid system incorporates an advanced "hybrid" technology framework: combining pure electric systems with powerful fuel efficiency enhancement technologies.
Key features of this new hybrid system include:
- Electric Range up to 430km, and 1400kms total range
- 5C Fast Charging capabilities, allowing a 1-second charge over one kilometer.
- an Electric Drive CLTC efficiency rate of 93.5%.
This next-generation hybrid technology will be deployed globally, starting with this release of the hybrid model in 2025.
