Chery's October Sales Reach 23,690 Vehicles, Exceeding 20,000 for the Fifth Consecutive Month
Chery, a leading Chinese automaker, has announced its sales figure for October 2024, reaching 23,690 vehicles, representing a year-on-year growth of 38.3%. This marks the fifth consecutive month that Chery's sales have exceeded 20,000 vehicles.
In terms of production, Chery has manufactured 21,300 vehicles in October, enjoying a year-on-yin growth rate of 28.3%. For the first ten months of the year, Chery's cumulative sales stood at 199,891 vehicles, displaying a year-over-year growth rate of 54.5%. Meanwhile, the company's cumulative production reached 192,660 vehicles, with production exceeding sales by around 10%.
Chery's growth pattern indicates that the brand is entering a period of stabilization in the Chinese market, signaling a touch bottom for the industry.
Note on Export Sales
Chery has made significant strides in export sales this year, with record-breaking numbers and stable rankings among the top ten automakers. The company has exported six models - EV5, Lioncab X8, Cheetah 2023, K5, Sonacra, and Urion - to date, with annual exports exceeding 300,000 vehicles and total export sales reaching over $36 billion.
Products have been shipped to as many as 76 countries globally, including Australia, New Zealand, Brazil, Chile, Malaysia, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, China's neighboring states of Central Asia, Middle East, South Asia, South America, North Asia, Africa, and Southeast Asia.
