Newbie Binyue: Latest Model to Showcase Chinese Smart Cars

A series of spy shots of the latest model from Chery's flagship brand, Binyue, have been shared online. The new interior design boasts an revamped gearshift and steering wheel.

The exterior design has already been released to the market or is set to be featured across all models with a signature "Eye God" C-Intelligent Assist System (Tian Shen Ye).

Looking closer at the new design, the car is equipped with a brand-new Binyue's signature family-style steering wheel and features a flat bottom tri-pod design. The gearshift design has changed significantly, with more space available in front of it for installing mobile phone charging pads, two cup holders, one row of physical shift keys and a rotor button.

Apart from that, the new car is equipped with an all-liquid crystal dashboard display and a large control screen.

The exterior design of this model adopts a completely new enclosure-style face and, accompanied by powerful front headlamps, gives its top appearance more visual impact. The family style front grille, paired with a silver protective panel on the lower guardrails further enhances visual density.

The side view features an upgraded D pillar, where all cars in Binyue's series now have smoother lines than before and offer consumers 17-inch and 18-inch wheel sizes to choose from. At the rear of the car, we see the familiar groove-style tail lamps, integrated with dynamic turn-by-turn arrows lights to give more distinguishable presence for this new model, which is also now available in unique Mici Li Color.

The front license plate sports a special "Eye God" sticker on its side, indicating that it might eventually be coupled with several C-high-assisted versions across the Binyue's lineup (e.g., Hi-Level Pilot 100). It has yet to confirm if this new model will be available as well in some of its variants.

As for power and range, according to previous reports, the car is equipped with a motor code called TZ200 XSQ which boasts outputs equaling up to 150 kW. The expected mileage for it was also announced as well to reach between 430km and 510 km during one charge.
