Volvo XC90 Takes Center Stage: Inside & Out Get Ready to Upgrade with its Highly Anticipated 2024 Reboot

Volvo XC90 2024 发布时间公布:中车内置全新One HMI智能交互座舱

In a significant update, the latest-generation Volvo XC90 is expected to be unveiled in April at a local market, with pricing yet to be disclosed. As a secondary mid-life facelift model (officially dubbed as the 'new'), the vehicle boasts enhanced exterior and interior design with an improved powertrain suite.

One notable feature of this update is its incorporation of Volvo's all-new One HMI smart infotainment system in the cabin, which is touted to offer a more intuitive driving experience. Moreover, plug-in hybrid variants are expected to feature substantial increases in range, with some configurations boasting up to 1329 kilometers.

Exterior Updates

Compared to its predecessor, the new XC90 marks notable changes in design language. These revisions include the adoption of entirely redesigned double eyebrows on the front net, as well as upgraded LED headlight arrays alongside integrated fog lights for a cohesive look. Lowered driving air intakes with dual-axis adjustments add a touch of elegance.

A traditional SUV stance endures through side profiles but, unlike past models, each element is now more tastefully streamlined and accentuated by sleek aerodynamics, all while the new tailligths boast improved visibility over the rear bodywork.

Design Features

Newer arrivals maintain respectability for the typical Volvo silhouette. With larger wheel sizes alongside discreet lines of trim around body contours and well-composed rooflines with prominent LED ambient lighting at points of junction where they intersect roadlights, a more contemporary look prevails.

A blend of style and usability is clearly reinforced by robust wind deflectors integrated with rear air dams. Furthermore, refined steering controls complete the visual experience, combining clear indications for the driver to maintain focus on driving and feel assured in use.

Interior Upgrade

In-line with expectations of an upmarket vehicle model, Volvo has opted for a new generation One HMI touchscreen user interface throughout the cabin's comprehensive display array; further incorporating the advanced infotainment system and voice-driven functions that can control it.

By refining every visual aspect from driver-friendly instrument clusters to fully illuminated LED illumination patterns along seats edges in lower trims levels of trim, the interior exudes warmth without ever losing sight of essential usability features for all occupants. Moreover, modern materials such as synthetic suede make appearance with high grade plastics and more functional elements integrated smoothly.

Powertrain

Engine options offered seem unaltered; yet remain powerful in practice, with a 48V light hybrid system coupled to various internal combusting engines – offering better efficiency combined with performance and a range of variants.
