Burn Rubber with the All-New Mercedes-Benz CLA: March 13th Global Debut

Mercedes-Benz Unveils Electrified New R-Class Limousine (CLA) for Global Debut on March 13th

Mercedes-Benz has confirmed that its new CLA model will make its global debut on March 13th, marking a significant milestone in the company's electrification strategy.

According to recent official releases, the new CLA will be built upon the innovative MMA architecture, which promises to provide three distinct powertrains: purely electric, plug-in hybrid, and traditional gasoline-hybrid models. The upcoming CLA is expected to support advanced technologies, including 800V platforms and the L2++ intelligent driving system.

Based on leaked images released by officials earlier, we can anticipate a revamped design for the new CLA. Rumors hint at an improved enclosures-style middle screen similar to Mercedes EQ family vehicles, which should be wrapped in signature BRS-style big round headlights with three-pointed star LEDs. Central LED strip has been noticed and displayed under the dashboard.

Inside, the all-new CLA is likely to boast a modern design language akin to today's Mercedes-Benz models.

The new long-wheelbase CLA model will offer versions that cover plug-in hybrid (plug-in), mild-mild gasoline or traditional gasoline-powered options. CLA Shooting Brake variant is also expected to be released with innovative, cutting-edge designs in line with the latest automotive trends.

Specifications for the all-electric version would include a 238-hp battery pack size, total weight of approximately 89 Kilowatt-Hours and a range using WLTC test standard of 750 kilometers from zero to 100 KM/hr.
