GEELY's Tengshen N9 SUV to Debut on March 21st with Exclusive Features

A new addition has been spotted in the automotive market, and it is the GEELY's Tengshen N9 SUV. Flagged as the company's latest flagship model, this large SUV is set to hit the markets on March 21st.

The pre-sales for the Tengshen N9 have already started, with a price range of CNY 45,000 to 55,000 (approximately USD 6,500-7,800). The exclusive pre-sale privilege includes an interest payment fee of CNY 2000, which grants priority access to purchasing the limited first edition.

What's notable is that the information suggests the launch of a plug-in hybrid version will follow soon after. The specifications reveal a wide array of innovative features set to make it stand out from other SUVs on the market.

Aesthetically, Tengshen N9 incorporates GEELY Family's latest design language for a dramatic visual effect with thin and tall large headlight setups integrated into an overall enclosure on the front grille segment. The rear section keeps to its firm rectilinear aesthetic characteristics while adding larger winglet parts, giving it an impressively robust look. Symmetrical LED arrangement under the taillights enhances distinguishability through centralized branding. It offers four vibrant exterior hues: Sable Green Pearl, Sakura White Pearls, Smoke Grey and Lapis Azure Jade.

Behind the wheel, passengers will find a spacious in-car configuration using an integrated three-screen system. The centrepiece is defined by its larger display setup which merges onto to a side panel of the cockpit with attention paid to visual texture through high-quality interior materials for a modern luxurious ambiance inside. Accommodation will take up a two-trunk design as the seats align around passenger and driver places. Each row comes equipped with a display table. Inside this car, colours are limited down to 2 choices: Platinum Metallic Gray and Jade Silk Green.

For power transmission, Tengshen N9 will offer an integrated hybrid layout. The PHEV model boasts 680 kW of total electric motor horsepower, pairing an upgraded high-speed engine to reach 207 hp with that being coupled with a strong combined ClTC drive range over 200 kilometers. With 2.0T supercharged inline piston power and PHEV driven propulsion, the N9 provides an impressive set range of 1300km on any driving surface.

Most notably Tengshen takes lead in providing advanced features for ease of cruising across cities and into the wilderness: intelligent lateral movements with all-wheel traction assist on slippery roads, smart side sliding through parking tight spots; plus advanced cruise control systems like "Smart Crawl" during uphill climbs and low gearing for downhill stability while at high speeds such as speed bursts.
