BYD Uncovers Its Most Epic EV Yet: First Look at its Latest Pickup Truck

Biyi Di's Second Pickup Truck Spotted, Design Distinct from Shark

Bi Yi Di has been making waves in the automotive world with the release of their shark-themed pickup truck. However, that didn't stop them from unveiling a new second generation of pickups with a fresh design.

Contrary to expectations, the new pickup shares no similarity with its predecessor. With an entirely different exterior design, it is anticipated that this vehicle will cater primarily to overseas markets.

The leaked images reveal a more rounded front facia replacing Shark's rugged design. The new truck boasts larger side mirrors adding bigger windscreen dimensions as well. According to insiders, new pickup may run solely as plug-in hybrid vehicle with electric engine combined in future variants, though no official confirmation was confirmed at the time of writing.

From what we know about its overall silhouette, this new truck should appear quite normal for anyone familiar with Bi Yi Di's lineup. It measures lower and shorter than expected with smaller width & longer wheelbase.

Although there is slight hint of being more spacious on both seats sides as compared to previous model, overall length has increased.

One can see all-wheel-drive capability hinted in leaked photographs as four wheel drive layout seems evident, though not confirmed at writing time. The last bit shows a lot of anticipation with rear compartment area not appearing too different unlike most pickup variants we've seen before.

A peek into the truck's specifications hints towards a possible hybrid variant running on 1.5 liters engine & electric motor combination in conjunction to increase its power production through electric drive.

Here are some of key dimensions: front overhang increased, wheelbase extended with wider front grille to support all-wheel-drive setup; also seen here larger upper side mirrors as you could notice clearly from the side profile view.

The full specifications isn't revealed on time but what is available so far gives an idea that combined performance power should be around 430 horsepower according to unofficial sources.
