Mazda Eyes Success with Latest Mazda3
Mazda has announced the details of its latest car model, Mazda3. With a 48-hour blind booking period, the car was showcased to over 10,600 customers.
Characterized by three main features, the new addition boasts an "Aura" design, featuring nine air vents and a dynamic exterior design. The interior also comes equipped with a massive 26.45-inch floating infotainment screen and a fourth-generation i-ACTIV AWD system.
Scheduled for release by the end of August, Mazda3 is a compact SUV positioned to compete on both conventional and hybrid power models. Dimensionally it measures in at 4850/1935/1620mm with a wheelbase of 2902/3000mm.
The new model comes with an automated valet parking system. In terms of energy the car will come equipped with electric or plug-in hybrid systems. The engine for the plug-in variant is 1.5L Turbo petrol in power output while driving, at 190kW peak power.
A notable feature of Mazda3 in relation to its competitors is a high-end infotainment system consisting of multiple screens which provide an easier user interface. These are going to replace some traditional car components - such as air conditioning and heating controls.
