NIO Delivers Strong On-Sale Performance, Announces Five New Models to Debut Before 2026

The NIO N7 officially went on sale last night, with customers lining up for a glimpse of the new model. According to the official announcement, the company has accumulated over 10,138 orders in its first day on sale.

Positioned as a mid-sized luxury sedan, the NIO N7 boasts an advanced energy architecture and AI technology features. Some notable highlights include a 15.6-inch 2.5K resolution touchscreen display, zero-pressure cloud seats, intelligent refrigeration systems, and cutting-edge audio equipment. The CLTC range extends up to 635 kilometers on a single charge, while the battery can be fully charged in just 14 minutes during Level 3 fast charging.

Following the press conference, officials from Dongfeng NIO provided insight into their future plans. According to them, Dongfeng NIO will unveil five new models by the end of 2026, featuring multiple powertrain options, including plug-in hybrid and pure electric vehicles.

This year's Dongfeng NIO oil and battery-powered hybrid (YUE) platform launch is rumored to take place in September, at which point they are expected to introduce a new NIO plug-in-hybrid model.

With over 100 dedicated delivery centers and 500 retail outlets across the country, Dongfeng Automobile has been establishing an extensive network. The company has also updated its energy ecosystem and user experience with improved user services.
